Casual Forces is a site-specific installation in which ten suspended mirrors respond to movement within the gallery space. Bands of red, green and blue line the perimeter of the room, while the shifting mirrors reflect and reconfigure the surrounding architecture, producing fragmented and unstable views of the gallery environment. Through continual distortion and reorientation, the work unsettles habitual modes of seeing and explores the fluid and contingent nature of perception.

The installation unfolds through movement and attention. As viewers navigate the space, reflections continuously shift and reform, revealing perception as an active and embodied process rather than a fixed encounter. Casual Forces invites a slower mode of looking, foregrounding the relationship between body, space and image, while drawing attention to perception as something continually produced through lived experience.
